In United States, most of prefab countertops are by size 96" x 26" or 108" x 26". Island tops are by size 72" x 36" or 72" x 39" or 98" x 39". Standard width for bar tops is 18". Most of states in Western Coast use 2cm(3/ 4") thickness and laminate the edges, Eastern Coast people like or 3cm(1 1/ 4") thickness better. Back splashes are 4", 6" or 18" full height for the range cutouts.
